About Us
Shirley Retreat was once the family residence of Rev. and Mrs. C.S. Shirley and their daughter, Dorothea. Following the passing of Dorothea in 1989, the property was converted into a four bedroom Bed & Breakfast facility by the United Church in Jamaica & the Cayman Islands.
Since 1999, Shirley Retreat has been upgraded to a 13-bedroom hotel, and boasts facilities suitable for a variety of occasions. Whether on temporary work assignments, having a meeting, conference, wedding, banquet, brunch, or just needing short term stays, or a home-away-from-home, the hospitable staff of the Shirley Retreat Hotel aims to exceed all your expectations.
